Revolutionizing Mobility
Transportation is rapidly transitioning to electric, connected, and automated systems, driven by advances in intelligent transportation systems, artificial intelligence, and smart city infrastructure, including digital technologies, sensors, and data analytics. Our research keeps communities on the leading edge by exploring topics ranging from infrastructure upgrades needed for the safe deployment of automated vehicles to how private sector innovation and public sector investments can be better aligned, what communication protocols are needed between vehicles as well as bicyclists and pedestrians, and implications of these innovations on safety, the environment, public health, the economy, and more.
