Project Summary
Historically, disadvantaged communities have been disproportionately affected by highway planning and freeway siting, particularly in California. This project tells the stories of communities impacted by highway planning in California through interactive, online storymaps, demonstrating through maps, images, graphs, videos, and text different sites’ multifaceted stories and legacies.
