Established in 2018 by the UC Pavement Research Center, the City and County Pavement Improvement Center (CCPIC) helps California cities and counties optimize their investments in local streets and roads by providing cutting-edge, cost-effective, and sustainable pavement practices, tools, and resources tailored to local needs. CCPIC support spans training, guidance and tool development, pavement engineering and management certification, online resource center, and research and development
Other CCPIC partners include the State Association of Counties, the League of California Cities, and several California State University campuses, including Chico, Long Beach, Cal Poly, and San Jose.
