The Directors of the four Institute of Transportation Studies (ITS) branches serve as the UC ITS Council of Directors. The Chair of the Council of Directors is a one-year appointment and rotates among the four branches following the chronological order in which each branch was founded. The Council of Directors is responsible for all governance, financial, policy, and programmatic decisions concerning the UC ITS program. The Council of Directors is also responsible for appointing and maintaining a Board of Advisors.
